The Watch
At Cabella & Sons we have always set ourselves the goal of creating a very beautiful product, with great attention to detail, with a design that lasts over time but is at the same time modern and attractive.
Before starting to design our watch, we observed the market for a long time: the offer is very broad, but in some ways not very innovative.
We focused on the design, not only of the watch, but also of the strap, with the aim of creating something that stands out and is unique in its own way.
For our watches we have chosen steel. The crystal is made of sapphire glass, which, after diamond, is the most resistant material in the world. It is not a flat glass, but a curved one, because it gives a more harmonious shape to our watches. As a movement we have selected the Miyota, from the Japanese company Citizen. We immediately liked it for its reliability, technical features and ease of use.
Characteristics
The case is made of 316L stainless steel to ensure excellent durability over time.
The case back of the watch features a six-screw closure, which gives it a touch of elegance and sophistication.
Sapphire glass is the second hardest material on earth: only diamond can scratch it.
The sapphire crystal is treated with an anti-reflective coating.
Our watches are built to last, which is why we decided to use sapphire crystal.
Our watches are waterproof up to 50 meters deep.
The strap
The creation of the strap required a long period of experimentation, with the aim of creating something new and different from the usual leather or colored nylon straps.
We started with the materials: we tested many of them, from the most traditional ones to carbon fiber (which we will perhaps use for our next creations). We chose cotton because it is a natural, comfortable and elegant fibre.
The straps are handmade in Italy by the same craftsmen who make the products of the big fashion brands. But we didn’t stop there… we wanted something different, something that could express the character of the wearer, that matches his or her outfit and that expresses dynamism and modernity. We have developed a printing technique that allows us to create what our creativity suggests.

The box
The Cabella & Sons watch box is crafted by expert craftsmen from a single piece of maple wood.
To preserve the naturalness of the wood, metal hinges have not been applied, but the closure is guaranteed by hidden magnets. Even the logo is not applied or drawn, but engraved into the wood by an expert engraver.
Each box is unique: this is due to the peculiar hardness of the maple wood and the grain pattern which is always different. Craftsmanship is evident in the small details: all our boxes are characterized by the continuity of the grain between the box and the lid, each pair is the result of working the same piece of wood.

We respect the environment by choosing essences and woods from certified and controlled forests.
The box design is essential. The logo is engraved and barely visible, to leave room for the beauty of the maple wood.
There are no metal parts or hinges: only four small magnets allow the box to close perfectly.
